A summary of features and improvements from the original AutoPod 1.x releases.

Version 1.8​

  • Significant performance improvements, reducing server error messages
  • Style improvements across the dashboard
  • Show and episode descriptions moved from header to page body for better readability

Version 1.7​

  • Stability improvements — expired sessions now redirect to login instead of showing errors
  • Better error pages for 404 and common errors
  • Stream settings now shows the account email address
  • RSS/iTunes categories for shows (improves podcast directory approval)
  • Fixed compact widgets auto-playing audio
  • Fixed playback of unreleased manually-uploaded episodes

Version 1.6​

  • Stream delay offset — fine-tune recording start times (0–599 seconds)
  • Improved episode generation accuracy to +/- 1 second (previously +/- 10 seconds)
  • Per-show custom trim duration (previously fixed at 2 minutes)
  • Cancel scheduled recordings from the future episodes page

Version 1.5 – 1.5.1​

  • Mixcloud integration — episodes automatically published to Mixcloud
  • RadioDNS schedule converter for stations using the Aiir platform
  • New compact widgets: stream, show, and group players with recent episodes
  • Updated show and episode page styles

Version 1.4 – 1.4.1​

  • Statistics on dashboard homepage — download graph for the last 15 days
  • Per-show download statistics over the last 30 days
  • Timeline bar graph on individual episode pages

Version 1.3 – 1.3.2​

  • Multiple schedule weeks — different shows on different weeks with automatic rotation
  • Copy schedules between weeks and delete extra weeks
  • First release of the Stream Settings page (colour, time format)
  • Bug fix for schedule deletion affecting other weeks

  • Episode statistics — estimated listen counts per episode
  • New statistics engine with bot/crawler filtering and IP deduplication
